Origin Story

From the Arena to the Boardroom — and Back to the Ranch

Lisa Murphy grew up competitive. She trained and competed in equestrian sports at an elite level, earning a place on the U.S. Developing Riders List — a distinction reserved for riders competing at the international level. The discipline, precision, and performance-under-pressure that defined her riding career became the blueprint for everything she would later build in business.

Her first encounter with the operational complexity of a scaling business came as COO of a multi-state transportation company. Under her leadership, the company scaled 40% — not through headcount additions alone, but through the installation of operational systems that made growth repeatable and sustainable. She learned firsthand what it takes to hold a complex operation together through rapid growth: clear decision frameworks, accountability structures, and leaders who can execute without constant escalation.

She then spent 15+ years in the insurance industry, earning the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designations — becoming one of a small percentage of professionals to hold both. This chapter sharpened her understanding of risk, systems thinking, and the operational demands of building a client-retention-driven practice in a competitive market.

Today, Lisa runs Limited to Limitless from her family farm in Reddick, Florida — where she raises horses, gives riding lessons, and operates a working farm that reflects the same values she installs in her clients' businesses: intentional structure, delegated authority, and a life that doesn't require her to be physically present for everything to function.
